Privacy Policy

How ENGICOLL collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website or get in touch with us.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data ENGICOLL collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights. It applies to this website and to the messages you send us through it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is ENGICOLL, Espace Jacques Lion, 06130 Grasse, France.

For any question about this policy or your personal data, you can write to us at business@engicoll.com.

2. The data we collect

We only collect the data we need to answer you and to run this website.

  • Data you give us through the contact form: first name, last name, company, email address, phone number, the topic of your request and the content of your message. Only the email address is mandatory.
  • Data you give us by email: your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
  • Technical data: when you browse the website, our hosting provider automatically processes standard connection data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit.

We do not collect sensitive data and we ask you not to include any in your messages.

3. Why we use your data

  • To answer your requests and follow up on our business discussions. This is based on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us and, where relevant, on the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To operate and secure the website, prevent abuse and fix technical issues. This is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the website available and secure.
  • To measure the audience or run marketing tools, only if such tools are added to the website and only with your prior consent.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

At the date of this policy, this website does not use any analytics or advertising cookies.

If such tools are added, they will be switched off by default and will only be activated after you have accepted the relevant category in the cookie window. You will be able to accept or refuse each category, and refusing will not prevent you from using the website.

Your choice is stored in your browser for six months so that we do not ask you again on every visit. This storage is strictly necessary and does not require consent. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookies Settings link at the bottom of every page.

5. Who can access your data

Your data is only accessible to the ENGICOLL team members who need it to handle your request, and to the service providers that help us run the website:

  • Webflow, Inc. (United States), which hosts the website and processes the contact form submissions on our behalf.
  • Technical providers that deliver some of the files needed to display the website (content delivery networks). They may process your IP address for that purpose.

We may also disclose data when the law requires us to do so.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of our service providers are located outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. In that case the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. You can contact us to find out more about these safeguards.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Contact requests: for the time needed to handle your request, then for up to three years after our last contact with you.
  • Technical data: for a limited period, for security and maintenance purposes.
  • Your cookie choice: six months.

After these periods, your data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation and French data protection law, you have the right to:

  • access your data and obtain a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • ask us to restrict the use of your data;
  • object to the use of your data based on our legitimate interest;
  • receive the data you gave us in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where the processing is based on consent;
  • give instructions about what happens to your data after your death.

To exercise these rights, write to us at business@engicoll.com. We will reply within one month. We may ask you for proof of identity if we have a reasonable doubt about who is making the request.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Access to the data is limited to the people who need it, and the website is served over an encrypted connection.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If the changes are significant, we will make them clearly visible on the website.
